What makes you happy?
Sunshine. Coffee. A good book. Music. A soft and slow morning with my partner. I'm a simple creature, really.

What are you scared of?
Not meeting the expectations I've set myself in regards to professional success, as well as the woman I believe myself to be. And bees (hornets - I was stung 6 times by a single hornet when I was eight years old, and it's haunted me since then).. Bumblebees are fine though

Who is your Hero?
I have a few, but the first that comes to mind is my mom. She's a very strong and loving woman, an air-force kid who's moved over 60 times in her life, a stay at home mom to 3 rambunctious girls (We've all moved out now), and has since restarted her life by going back to university to study medicine and train as a respiratory nurse helping save lives. She's lived a million lives, each of them difficult in their own way, yet she remains calm and kind and the most loving person you'll ever meet.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
My partner and I speak in "bits", so probably any and all of those. Beyond that, nothing really comes to mind! Oh, I say "realistically" a lot, but my overuse of words comes in phases, so that will be changed out sooner or later.

When and where were you happiest?
The first time I was on stage singing professionally. New York City, opening for Mark Seliger's 'The Rusty Truck Band'. It was one of the first moments I knew I wanted to keep performing, and also a "Woah, I've made it" moment. I was ecstatic, filled to the brim with joy and gratitude.
What are your talents?
Remembering everyone's name, even after only telling me once. Reading multiple books at one time (up to 5 or 6 usually!). Singing.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being the person my little sisters come to for advice, help, or a shoulder to cry on. I love that they know and feel they can come to me for anything and everything, no judgement. Same with my friends tbh!

What is your most treasured possession?
My heart, soppy answer I know. But it is true and kind and loving, despite everything, and I treasure and protect it with all I have. I wouldn't be me without my soft and caring heart!

What is your favourite thing to do?
Walk, explore, adventure. I love wandering and finding little knick-knacks and antiques, seeing the world around me, and finding awe in the little things! And reading.

What is your most marked characteristic?
I am tenaciously bold. When I am doing my "thing", whatever that is at the time (most often performing/singing, modeling, or related), I am fearlessly self-confident.

What do you value most in your friends?
Brutal and blunt honesty. I appreciate a friend who isn't afraid to tell me their opinion, even if it may hurt me, or if I disagree.

Who is your hero of fiction?
Belle from Beauty and the Beast (the original animated Disney version) is smart, independent, loyal, brave, strong, generous, patient, and kind. She doesn’t care what the townsfolk or the other girls think of her; she doesn’t care that Gaston is a hunk who wants to marry her. She’s fiercely non-conforming and fiercely loyal to those she loves. She wants what she wants and won’t settle. (And she loves books!)

What are your favourite names?
I love the name Storm, and the name Phoenix. When I have kids, I'll need to convince my partner to let me name them these haha. I just think they're very strong and powerful, but also beautiful. Another favourite name of mine is Jack - It is my partners name, and it also runs in my family (My grandfather was Jack, my dad is Jackson...)

Do you have a party trick?
It's not really a party trick, but people seem to be amazed that I can make my nose-ring disappear before their eyes (I flip it into my nose, and poof! It's gone).

Can you play an instrument?
I play piano! Mostly on my own / for songwriting, but I'd never play on stage. I would rather focus on what I'm good at, singing and entertaining.

What is your favourite song to dance to?
Funkytown - It's my ultimate "pump-up" song when I'm preparing for something, or just need a bit of an energy boost.

Describe your style.
Rich, elevated, timeless, & minimalistic. That goes for how I dress, and how I am :)
